The FORBES AFRICA 30 under 30 list is the most talked about magazine in Africa currently which features 30 of the brightest, hungriest and most successful entrepreneurs under the age of 30. These are the cover stories in 10 years’ time, or maybe even sooner of the Forbes Billionaires magazine.

The class of 2018 features 90 successful entrepreneurs across three sectors which are business, technology and the creatives. This year featured 90 entrepreneurs instead of the previous 30 entrepreneurs.

We are happy to announce our founder Abraham Omani Quaye, made the Forbes Africa 30 under 30 class of 2018.

Find below a brief of Farmart story shared in the Forbes magazine.

“After completing his undergraduate degree in Agricultural Science, he decided to go into farming. During his search for land, he came across several farmers who complained of their produce going waste. They will have to then sell their produce off cheaply to middlemen to avoid getting nothing out of their hard work. He also discovered in Ghana, farmers suffer over 30% post harvest losses which is really unfortunate.
Quaye was motivated to not just be a farmer but a digital farmer and help other farmers have access to ready market, reduce post harvest losses and increase return on their investments. He founded Farmart, an online farmers’ market that links farmers to households and businesses.”
